Totaranui
Off to Totaranui for about 5 nights, which we are really looking forward to. Hopefully we will get some good weather and be able to make the most of the beaches that I have heard so much about.
As well as laying around, doing nothing, I hope to get a good dose of trail running on the the many tracks that are in the area. I have some new toys to play with as well. I have had the T6C watch from Suunto for about a week now. Its pretty cleaver, tracking heart rate, EPOC, calories used, altitude gained/lost and even tells the time. Also have a Raid Revo pack from Salomon, after Jane decided the Vest Pack was for her, and I made a tough decision of getting a a pair of XA Pro 3D, rather than another pair of XT Wing running shoes. I rate the Wings highly, so hopefully the XA's don't disappoint!
Should be able to fit in some fishing as well! Will report back in a week or so, hopefully will some good photos of the Abel Tasman!

"The skier who forsakes the lifts to climb under his own power to a mountain summit is a very different person from the downhill only piste basher and is often regarded by the latter as something of a curiosity.
But he was the creator of the sport; and possibly with him lies the future"
-Robin Fedden, The book of Europen Skiing, 1966
